In this video I break down point spreads in plain English and show you how they actually shape the way books (and sharp bettors) think about a game.

What a point spread really is: the favorite giving points and the underdog getting points

Why spreads were created in the first place (to make big mismatches bettable on both sides and balance risk for the book)
