The NBA and its sportsbook partners agreed to pull several player prop markets ahead of the 2026-27 season.

What's gone:
- First basket
- First rebound
- First assist
- First steal
- First block
- Bets on a player missing his first or next shot
- Winner of the opening tip
- Parlays on the under of the same player's stats
- Unders on players expected to play under 12 minutes
What's not gone: overs. Every over prop is still on the board.

These restrictions came after the Jontay Porter and Terry Rozier cases, where under parlays were the structure used in both schemes. They apply to the league's sportsbook partners, like DraftKings and FanDuel, and hit the WNBA next season too. Prediction markets are not covered. Kalshi is a trading platform, not a sportsbook, so its NBA props are not affected.
