The Houston Texans 2026 win total is set at 9.5 wins. Is this team going OVER or UNDER that number?

The biggest question mark is CJ Stroud. After a strong rookie year, his playoff performance last season raised real concerns. If he bounces back this team has the talent to push for double digits. If he carries over that postseason form, the under is in play.

The Texans added Reed Blankenship to the secondary, Braden Smith and Wyatt Teller on the offensive line, and Logan Hall for depth on the edge. They also grabbed an offensive lineman in the first round. David Montgomery comes in to split carries with Woody Marks, who had a good rookie year. The losses were manageable — Tim Settle, Christian Harris, Christian Kirk, Joe Mixon, and Tommy Townsend.

Nico Collins is a legit WR1 when healthy. Jaden Higgins should take a step. Dalton Schultz is solid at tight end. The offensive line got the help it needed. Defensively, DeMeco Ryans has talent to work with — Will Anderson Jr., Sheldon Rankins, Danielle Hunter, and the Blankenship addition in the secondary.

The schedule is the problem. Bills, Cowboys, Jaguars in London, Chargers, Ravens, Eagles, and Packers at Lambeau on Monday Night Football. The game-by-game breakdown landed at 9 wins. That puts them right at the line. The under 9.5 is the lean, but under 10.5 paired with another team's win total offers better value.
