Eight and a half wins is the line for New Orleans. The schedule breaks down to eight wins with a clear path to nine. I like the over.
Tyler Shough started to come on late last year. He looks ready to take the next step. The front office gave him help too. Jordan Tyson should have a strong rookie season, and pairing him with Chris Olave gives Shuck a legitimate one-two punch on the outside. Jawan Johnson is one of the more underrated pass-catching tight ends in the league.
Travis Etienne was a smart pickup. He brings youth to a backfield that still has Alvin Kamara, who is getting older but remains effective. David Edwards was added to help an offensive line that needed bodies.
The losses are manageable. Brandon Cooks was traded away and he is past his prime. Rasheed Shahed went to Seattle. That one stings a bit since he was extremely consistent and one of the best in the league at bet receptions. But the receiver room is still solid.
Justin Reed and Cameron Jordan anchor the defense. Cam is up there in age but provides veteran leadership.
Can the Saints get to nine wins? Easily.
The schedule sets up well. Over 7.5 at -120 on DraftKings is the value side if you want a cushion.

Today we have the New Orleans Saints. This is a fun one cuz I think the Saints might be better than a lot of people expect this year, but I still don't know. I've not gone through their schedule yet, so I'm going to go through in this video and let you know if they're going to get over or under eight and a half wins, which is what Vegas has their total set at for this year. So, we're going to jump right into it. Biggest winners and losers, Tyler show. All right, we're going to get right into their biggest winners and losers, Tyler Shuck. Good quarterback. I think he's going to be good. They got him help with Jordan Tyson.
I like Jordan Tyson in college. I think he's going to have a I thought that was a good move for them to get a younger running back in there. Added some help with David Edwards on the offensive line. Their biggest losers, Brandon Cooks, not a huge loss. He's up there in age. Uh Rashid Shaheed traded away to Seattle. I liked him. He was extremely consistent, one of the best players to bet receptions on. The way I do all my player property searches through Data Streak. Links down in the description if you want to check it out after this video. He's one of the most consistent pass catchers though in the league when it comes to receptions.
Good possession guy, but let's take a look at their depth chart as a whole. So, Tyler Shuck, I think he's going to have a good season. Uh he started to come on last year. Adding Travis Etienne, still have Alvin Kamara, getting up there in age, but Kamara's still going to be be solid. Both these running backs help in the passing game. And overall this offense actually looks pretty decent, you know, you got Chris Olave, bringing Jordan Tyson. Got a good one-two punch there. Juwan Johnson, good pass-catching tight end, underrated in my opinion. Offensive line, we'll see what to expect from them this season.
We look at the defensive side of the ball. Got Justin Reed, Cameron Jordan. Cameron Jordan's getting up there in age, but a good veteran to help lead that defense. They had a good defense last year. You know, they don't have anybody that jumps off the page at you, but overall, they they're a good defensive team. I like their offense though this year. I think they're going to take strides with their offense. And let's take a look at their schedule, see if they can get to eight wins. All right, so week one at the Lions, we're going to call that a loss. At Ravens, we're going to call that a loss.
Raiders week three, win. Falcons week four, we're going to call that a win. Vikings, we're going to call that a loss. At Giants, we're going to call that a win. Steelers, we're going to call that a win. Bye week, then play the Browns. We're going to call that a win as well. That's five. Panthers, I think they can win that, too. That's six. Bears, loss. Bengals, loss. Uh Packers, loss. At Panthers, we're going to call that a We'll call that a win. At Buccaneers, we're going to call that a loss. I think between the Panthers two away games, Panthers Buccaneers, I think they'll win one of those, lose one of those.
Then they have the Cardinals, win. And then they have the Falcons again. I don't expect much from the Falcons this year, but we're going to say they split those games. So, we're going to say that's a loss. And Buccaneers again, we're going to call that a loss. I think they're going to split one of those bucket those Buccaneers games. But that puts us at eight wins. I think they could easily get to nine, too. And look at it their total on DraftKings, over seven and a half is it minus 120. I like the over. I think they can easily get to eight wins given their schedule. I think they can even get to nine wins.
I think this offense is very solid. I think it's going to be an underrated offense headed into the season, but I think they'll turn some heads. They have all the talent they need bringing in Tyson. I like the over on this one for sure. Let me know down in the comments if you agree or disagree if they can get to eight wins. Over under eight wins, let me know down in the comment section below.
